BRIEF: $40K in Grant Money Available through Lewis County Public Health & Social Services

July 21--Lewis County Public Health & Social Services is currently accepting grant proposals to fund programs for recreation, community education and support for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

There is up to $40,000 in grant money available. The funding contract period will run from Sept. 1, 2018 until June 30, 2019.

Proposals must include a cover sheet, answers to narrative questions as well as a budget and spending plan for salaries and wages. On Tuesday, July 24 from 4-6 p.m there will be an open house with more information on the application process at 156 NW Chehalis Ave in Chehalis.

Proposals must be submitted via email by 12:00 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2018 to sara.sons@lewiscountywa.gov. The complete Request for Proposals is available at https://lewiscountywa.gov/publichealth/developmental-disabilities
